App Launch at the Association for Play Therapy Conference

playTherapyConferenceToday is our first day manning a booth as Snappy Kids at the Association for Play Therapy Conference in Houston, TX.  It is perfect timing: we recently submitted “What’s Your Lava Level” as an Android app on Google Play! Are you an iOS user? No worries: “What’s Your Lava Level” is still available on The App Store as well.

I’m not a play therapist and I don’t even play one on TV. In spite of this I’m finding it one of the most fun conferences I’ve been too. The play therapists are…playful. They are a creative bunch and they have plenty of good feedback for us. I’m also encouraged that many of them believe the app will make a difference for them and their clients. That’s why we are here.

Wow! I’m going to get this and try it then recommend it to kid clients. I’ve used the volcano analogy for years with kids to help them manage anger and frustration. I have plastic volcanoes that I use in sand tray therapy and I created worksheets with volcanoes and a story. This app will be an awesome adjunct! Thanks! Go girl therapists!
